<p class="Paragraph">A change is always saved with the following information: The author who made the changes is read from the user data entered in <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> (Tools - Options - <help:productname xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">%PRODUCTNAME</help:productname> - User Data). The date and time of the change are taken from the system setting.<help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="WRITER"> A commentary on the change can be made via <help:link Id="65657">Edit - Changes - Commentary</help:link>.</help:case></help:switch></p>
<p class="Paragraph">When you position the mouse-pointer on the revision mark in the document, the Help Tip will display the author, date and time.<help:switch select="Program" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><help:case select="WRITER"/><help:case select="CALC"> If the Extended Tips are activated, you'll also see the comments, nature and content of the change.</help:case></help:switch></p>
